We’re looking for a proactive Senior Equipment Support Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in stabilizing and improving the reliability of manufacturing equipment, ensuring seamless operations reducing downtime. You’ll play a key role in fostering an efficient, collaborative, and inclusive work environment for technicians, engineers, and operations staff.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the maintenance of automated production equipment.
- Maintain production equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
- Oversee technicians that repair and maintain the production and test equipment.
- Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of multi-skilled engineers, planners, coordinators, and technicians, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
- Lead individual development planning and training plans to create a high performing organization.
- Provide technical mentoring and facilitating training to ensure high technical competency within your organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusivity, ensuring the team is engaged, supported, and performing at a high level.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance and reliability.
Nice to Have:
- Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical or maintenance related field.
- Experience working in regulated industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of microelectronics manufacturing operations and equipment.
- Certifications such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or certified Reliability Leader (CRL).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership skills associated with influence management.
- Ability to inspire, train, facilitate, and lead.
- Medical device manufacturing and operations experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-linked technical work environment.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment, including knowledge of FDA regulations, QSR, ISO standards, and related regulations.
- Previous knowledge of medical device quality systems and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
