We are looking for a (Senior) Claims Specialist and Product Owner (m/f/d), based in Munich, Germany.
 
Your Team 
As a key strategic player in the Allianz Group network, Allianz Commercial is present in over 200 countries and in 2022 generated more than €19 billion gross premium. 
Allianz is committed to delivering on our claims promise.  To achieve that mission, you will be working together with 15+ experienced Claims Specialists, Product Owners, Product Managers, Business Analysts based in several locations and join a network of more than 650 claims experts around the world.

 

The Impact You Will Have 
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Claims Systems and Processes, you will support your colleagues in CCO in driving strategic priorities and operational tasks. The responsibility of the role includes taking ownership of the assigned tasks such as Product Owner within Product Claims for a feature team. You will obtain, understand, elaborate, and follow up on information and data appropriately. The role is multifaceted and involves wearing several different hats to ensure that a wide variety of tasks are accomplished. 

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Work under the guidance of senior colleagues to support the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Build consensus for product vision (internally and externally) and be the ambassador of your product area. 
• Communicate project objectives, plan project timelines and required resources.
• Contribute to operational processes against agreed standards and timelines and support continuous improvement through innovation and excellence.
• Manage the backlog i.e. plan the work and manage committed epics.
• Understand requirements in the context of end-to-end processes.
• Support management colleagues when interdependencies demand collaborative action and teamwork.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Insurance know-how (ideally P&C) as well as understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group allowing for cross-departmental thinking and acting.
• Ability to find the right balance between being detail–oriented and a generalist, depending on the task, pro-active and thorough to perform individual jobs. 
• Master's degree in related subject (Business Administration, Finance, Economics or other)
• Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management.
• Ability to manage projects (milestone and task planning, managing resources, project controlling, monitoring, and reporting, moderation techniques).
• Multi-task profile with focus on effective use of own resources and handling of competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Very command of Microsoft 365 suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
