About the role

As a Senior Product Designer on the Financing team, you'll craft and implement a vision that empowers buyers to secure financing with unparalleled ease. You'll champion a deep understanding of customer needs, drive innovative ideas to redefine the mortgage experience, and collaborate closely with product and engineering to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design digital customer experiences for web, iOS, and Android.

  • Collaborate with product managers, researchers, content designers, and engineers.

  • Propose, test, and evaluate ideas to improve the mortgage customer experiences.

  • Lead design activities like journey mapping, co-design sessions, prototyping, design critiques, and user testing, while leading the design process and project plans.

  • Facilitate online and in-person workshops with designers and cross-functional teams.

  • Use data to inform design decisions, continuously refining and enhancing the user experience.

  • Present design work and seek regular feedback from partners and senior leaders.

  • Lead projects independently, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

  • Partner with our Design System team to up-level our visual standards and adhere to brand guidelines.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $145,500.00 - $232,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 5–7 years as a product designer, user experience designer, or similar role.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong design, organization, project planning and collaboration skills.

  • Experience planning and operating UX design activities for multiple surfaces within large organizations.

  • Experience working reliably with diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Engages audiences and collaborators through compelling storytelling and customized presentations.

  • Experience identifying customer insights through user research and discovery activities.

  • Experience developing design strategies that address customer and business problems

  • Passionate about crafting meaningful, trend-forward designs that drive impact.

  • Experience making effective decisions and leading design project work

  • Examples of high quality interaction and visual design work in a design portfolio

  • Examples of critical thinking, creativity, and risk-taking in design project
