Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for delivering the Procurement fundamentals on Global Upstream Plastics (eg PET- HDPE)- and International Blow Mold - meaning budgeting- negotiation- contracting- tendering- risk mitigation- robust market intelligence/ should cost assessments and acting as the global expert for your area.
Initiating and delivering global entrepreneurial (big bet) projects on Sustainability (ESG) - Innovation and Operating Model optimization as well as price improvement and value engineering initiatives for International Zones- together with the Regions and cross functional stakeholders.
Partner with the Global Risk management team to identify the best strategies for commodity / resin management as well as partnering with external players to leverage scale.
Build close relationships and secure alignment across all zones embedding processes and ways of working as per the Procurement collaboration model.
Close Collaboration with the Procurement Sustainability program owner to help drive a continuous improvement approach across the broader Procurement Sustainability Program.
Securing short and long term supply for resins including recycled and alternative materials at competitive conditions
Job related experience and skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Finance. Master’s degree preferred.
Credible and recognized Global Procurement leader with experience gained in FMCG / large BlueChip companies (Minimum 6-8 years of experience).
Packaging Procurement Experience is essential, ideally having knowledge of the supply chain of different types of Packaging.
Highly developed business and commercial acumen with demonstrated success in delivering a competitive commercial advantage.
Successful multi-year track record in delivering year on year savings in a challenging economic climate.
Demonstrated ability to build lasting business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Display leadership behaviors aligned to Kraft Heinz values to drive a culture of “Consumer obsessed, do better every day, own it and do the right thing”.
Highly skilled negotiator with complex negotiation experience.
Able to develop and present convincing arguments and business cases to stakeholders enabling change and value creation.
Expertise in delivering change programs like switching supply base to achieve lower cost whilst retaining business security and service in highly matrix and decentralized environments.
Resilient and persistent with the ability to make the right decisions in challenging situations.
