Job Description

We aim to be in the office at least 2 days a week.  
 
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, FP&A to support our Talent Solutions business across the North American, Global Small Business, and Online Jobs teams. We manage ~$4B in bookings across these lines of businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis, including: annual planning, monthly forecasting, weekly outlooks, and investment strategies. In addition, you will partner with executives across our Talent Solutions business to provide ad-hoc deep dives, manage projects, and provide data driven recommendations to help the business achieve its goals. This role will report into the Director, FP&A of Talent Solutions (North America, Global Small Business, and Online Jobs). 
 
Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with sales leaders and business unit FP&A teams to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations  

  • Monitor key financial metrics and business drivers relevant to the sales team (bookings by industry, region, sales motion, etc.) and provide insights into drivers as well as risks and opportunities 

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting to be used by Sales Leaders and cross-functional partners (SOPs, Biz-Ops, and others) 

  • Provide regional models and perspective into global financial models, such as the Global Long Range Financial Plan, Global Sales Productivity, Global Multi-Year Deals, etc. 

  • Work with cross-functional partners to drive financial insights and build operational processes surrounding go-to-market strategies 

  • Own and review financial models to ensure they are both accurate and updated 

  • Lead the development and implementation of tools, systems, and processes to support the successful completion of timely and accurate forecasts  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:    

  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting; or relevant work experience 

  • 8+ years of experience in financial analysis with an emphasis on strategy 

  • 3+ years of experience in complex project forecasting and modeling 

  • 2+ years of experience supporting executive leaders  

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Analytical background working directly in an FP&A, Business Operations, investment banking or consulting environment; experience with modeling bookings, revenue, costs and expenses   

  • Excellent at communicating complex matters in a simple way (verbally, email, PowerPoint) 

  • Experience working with SaaS-and Online based business models   

  • Strong systems skills with a preference toward, SQL, Oracle Financials, Dynamics365 

  • Understanding of accounting theory and practice (e.g., basic revenue recognition rules, accruals, company capitalization policies and proper expense timing)   

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); expert Excel modeling skills strongly preferred   

  • Ability to demonstrate thought leadership and managing relationships with senior stakeholders   

  • Proven ability to coordinate and execute projects independently, effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and autonomously perform within tight deadlines

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is [$130,000 to $210,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
