A Day in the Life

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Lead IV to join our manufacturing team in North Haven, CT. In this role, you will lead a team of production operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules. Your leadership will be pivotal in optimizing manufacturing processes and fostering a collaborative team environment. 

 

3rd Shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate the production team's workflow, including equipment testing, manufacturing processes, disassembly, and reassembly tasks as assigned by the supervisor.  

  • Production Scheduling: Prioritize and allocate personnel based on the production schedule to meet operational goals efficiently.  

  • Communication: Effectively communicate process issues and provide status updates to supervisors, ensuring transparency and timely resolution of challenges.  

  • Coaching and Development: Mentor and coach operators and assemblers on production techniques and problem-solving skills, performing technical reviews and assisting with machinery setup and breakdown as needed.  

  • Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all company quality and safety standards are upheld, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to regulatory requirements. 

 

Qualifications  

 

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications  

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience.  

 
Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment, with a focus on production processes.  

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop team members effectively. 

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset. 

  • Prior experience providing supervision or mentorship to lower-level production staff.  

  • Experience in training and onboarding new employees, with the ability to provide process improvement recommendations to supervisors.
