Captain - Security

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one-year experience as a security officer or previous law enforcement experience.
• Graduate of a municipal, state, or federal law enforcement agency.
• Active or retired member in good standing from the aforementioned law enforcement agencies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and develop constructive relationships with others.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities in directing, supervising, and motivating a diverse workforce.
• Prior investigative experience.
• Computer literacy required.

 

License Requirements:

• Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming License
• Rhode Island Pistol Permit
• Rhode Island Driver Operator License
• Serve Safe Certified

Essential Job Functions:

• Assume the role of Security Director and/or Manager in his/her absence.
• Assign specific duties to security officers.
• Schedule, direct, and supervise all employees assigned.
