About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a strategic and collaborative communications professional to support internal communications across the U.S. sales and commercial operations teams within the Vascular Therapies (VT) business, which includes drug eluting technologies, clot management, and transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR). This role reports to the Director of Commercial Operations for VT and partners closely with the Vice President of Sales to drive communications that align teams, promote engagement, and accelerate business performance.

 

The ideal candidate is a trusted communications advisor who develops clear, compelling, and timely content; strengthens field engagement; enables effective leadership communications; and ensures alignment across the broader commercial organization.

 

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

 

Your responsibilities will include:
● Support the Vice President of Sales in developing and delivering leadership communications that inform, inspire, and drive action across the U.S. field sales team

● Advise leaders and stakeholders on communication strategies, including effectiveness, methods, timing, and content. Ensure communication delivery is well suited for the intended audience

● Manage clear, consistent communication to support organizational change

● Develop, implement, and manage strategic communications plans that support business objectives while leading internal communications for the commercial operations function—including strategic initiatives, process changes, and performance updates

● Partner with all levels of leadership to create and manage communication channels such as email updates, newsletters, video content, PowerPoint presentations, and updates via SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to ensure timely and effective information flow

● Leverage technology, communication channels, and enterprise collaboration platforms—along with emerging trends—to effectively distribute communications and support best‑in‑class practices to drive employee engagement

● Support content development and logistics for internal meetings and events, including national sales meetings, business updates, and town halls

● Lead a small team of administrative assistants who support the VT selling organization

● Prioritize and manage resources to ensure that team initiatives meet objectives. Ensure understanding of and compliance with defined processes; provide guidance and feedback on areas of continuous improvement

● Maintain a communications calendar and editorial planning tools to track and manage cadence and consistency

● Provide ongoing counsel and maintain regular engagement with marketing and cross-functional partners within the VT business unit

● Collaborate with Global Corporate Communications teammates to share best practices that enable cohesiveness across business units and functional communications

● Ensure all communications reflect Boston Scientific’s brand voice, business strategy and values, with a focus on the company’s mission to advance science for life

 

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field

● Minimum of seven years' experience in marketing, internal or corporate communications, preferably within a commercial environment

● Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; proficient with major internal communications platforms and digital tools
