Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Sr. Operations Analyst to contribute to our team in La Vergne, TN.  The Sr. Operations Analyst serves as a liaison among technical, operations and business stakeholders to provide daily expert analytical support for distribution and manufacturing.  This role identifies gaps, provides recommendations and implements improvement opportunities to meet business requirements, provides complex reporting on key operational performance metrics to other departments, evaluates current reporting and builds new frameworks and methodologies for reporting and data management, oversees and coordinates the reporting and analysis process across the network and ensures that individual reports and metrics are aligned with overall goals.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or directly related year for year experience
  • 5 years business or data analysis experience
  • 3 years experience working with formal Reporting Tools/Platforms (examples: Tableau, Looker, Pentaho, Qlik, Informatica, OBIEE, Talend, SSRS, SQL, Crystal Reports, PL/SQL, PowerBI)

Preferred Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience working with R or Python programming
  • Experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment

What You'll Do:

  • Develop reporting to identify areas needing attention and provide the DCs with key operational metrics to achieve the desired goals.
  • Provide expert analytical support and ad hoc reporting from various data sources (Qlik, PkMS, Data Warehouse or equivalent, Oracle, etc.)
  • Interpret, manipulate and extrapolate large and complex data sets.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to assist in evaluating capital expenditures, process improvements, and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Ensure necessary processes are in place to accurately capture and understand operating metrics.
  • Develop models for use in identifying gaps, recommending and evaluating process changes and implementing approved processes.
  • Provide daily support and metric monitoring for consumer direct fulfillment accounts and large bulk accounts. 
  • Develop and implement new tools and reports to assist in managing distribution center and manufacturing operations.

Essential Physical Demands:

  • Ability to travel 5-7 trips per year.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
  • Ability to sit at workstation for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
  • Ability to operate computer equipment, including keyboard and monitor, phone equipment and other necessary office equipment
