Senior Strategist

The Strategy team is a small, multidisciplinary team of people with diverse backgrounds and experience that reports to the COO. The team is responsible for identifying, designing, and leading the execution of value-creating, cross-functional initiatives. We also enable the development of new businesses, engage in special situations, and support the strategic planning process for the Firm.

What you’ll do

• Support implementation of the firm’s strategic priorities
• Lead projects with multiple senior stakeholders across the organization
• Evaluate new business growth opportunities
• Provide project management support to key initiatives
• Perform research on different relevant topics (e.g., trends in the industry and market conditions)
• Lead analyses on ways to improve our firm’s operations

What you’ll need

• A background in project management and an ability to organize and lead diverse project teams
• 4+ years of experience ideally from a combination of a leading consulting firm, asset manager and/or investment bank
• Technical skills, including a strong command of Excel and other analytical tools used for financial modeling
• A passion for identifying opportunities for change and innovation and creatively implementing recommendations
• An inquisitive and analytical mindset, with an ability to conduct deep research with limited guidance and to gather and synthesize information to draw fact-based conclusions and recommendations
• Effective communication skills and an ability to engage with senior internal clients and provide recommendations to firm senior management
• An ability and willingness to tackle complex problems, build thorough financial & analytical models, and perform high-quality primary and secondary research
• Previous experience evaluating, negotiating, and executing investment opportunities

The annual base salary range is $160,000 – $275,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
