Position Overview:

The Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative I is responsible for the investigation and adjustment of assigned multi-line liability claims. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a single dedicated client account while building your expertise in multi-line claims. After an initial training period, this position will transition to a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office work one day per month, plus additional days for training or meetings. The position requires a up tof 6 months in-office for training in Scottsdale, AZ, for training and acclimation.

This position may serve as advanced training for future opportunities, such as promotion to Multi-Line Liability Claim Rep II or other senior claim roles. You will be accountable for ensuring high-quality claims service, aligning with CCMSI’s corporate claim standards.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims in accordance with established handling procedures and CCMSI guidelines.
• Review medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices to determine if they are reasonable and related to ongoing claims.
• Negotiate disputed bills and manage claim settlements in accordance with client authorizations.
• Oversee subrogation claims and assist in the selection and supervision of defense attorneys.
• Prepare reports detailing claims, payments, and reserves; provide reports as required by excess insurers.
• Maintain compliance with Service Commitments as established by the team.
• Deliver high-quality service to clients and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Adjuster’s license required
• 3+ years of experience adjusting Auto/GL claims
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
• Reliable, predictable attendance during client service hours

Education & Experience:

• 3+ years of liability claim experience or equivalent insurance-related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Adjuster’s license may be required based on jurisdiction
