Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Lending Operations Administrative department has an immediate opening for a VP Director, Lending Operations. As a VP Director, Lending Operations, you will be responsible for the following:
• Building strategic leadership, operational direction, and performance of TFCU’s lending operations, encompassing Indirect Lending, Lending Services, and the Card Center.
• Driving the development and execution of strategies that drive loan growth, operational excellence, and superior member experiences
• Serving as a key contributor to TFCU’s overall lending strategy, fostering collaboration between departments and branch operations to ensure seamless integration of products and services.
• Upholding the highest standards of compliance, particularly in fair lending practices, while continuously refining product offerings and origination processes to optimize profitability and strengthen member relationships.
• Elevating with leaders across Risk, Finance, Member Experience, and Technology to ensure consistency, integration, and operational alignment across the credit union.
Salary Range:
This is an exempt position. The starting salary is $191,575.36119, however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience:
A bachelor's degree in a field relatable to the position and nine years of progressively responsible related experience, three of which must be at the supervisory or management level, are required. Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels or relevant but not required certifications may be eligible to satisfy minimum experience requirements. A master’s degree and financial institution experience are preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
1. Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
2. Approved lending authority by TFCU’s Board of Directors.

In order to be successful as a VP Director, Lending Operations, you must possess these qualifications:
• Comprehensive understanding of credit union governance and lending regulations, supporting compliance across all lending channels.
• Deep expertise in advanced lending principles, portfolio management, credit risk, and underwriting, with a thoughtful approach to balancing risk, member value, and organizational goals.
• Deep analytical, technical, and operational expertise to review data, spot trends, and explore ways to improve lending products, processes, and delivery channels.
• Strong ability to support lending growth and profitability through market analysis, product development, and performance improvement, helping achieve lending goals and KPIs.
• Strong ability to leverage technology and data to improve efficiency and member experience, with hands-on knowledge of loan systems, digital platforms, and analytics tools.
• Advanced skills in organizational planning and project management, with experience leading cross-functional efforts to improve efficiency and results.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership, regulators, and key stakeholders to achieve operational objectives.
