OUR SCHOOL:
Case Manager positions (no teaching)
This Position: Case load of 10 students - variety of abilities and needs including primarily non-verbal
Special Education Teachers (no case managing)
Grades 7-12, Small class sizes, small case loads
Due process days given

We offer:
$37,500 - $70,000 depending on education and experience

POSITION TITLE: Special Education Case Manager
DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Special Programs Supervisor
POSITION STATUS: Exempt
CORE HOURS: Monday Friday, 7:45 am 4:15 pm
DUTY DAYS: 187

POSITION PURPOSE:
Manage student's IEP by collaborating and coordinating with IEP team members, administering evaluations, monitoring student progress to determine service effectiveness and working directly with students to support their IEP goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Communicate regularly with IEP team members including staff and families, through in person meetings, via email, and by telephone

Schedule student focused meetings through management of an online calendar

Track timelines for due process dates and organize due process paperwork and ensure accuracy and compliance

Collaborate with all staff: teachers, educational assistants, related service providers, and families

Schedule, plan, write and facilitate IEP team meetings, case conferences and evaluations based on due process deadlines

Organize and oversee data collection for academic and/or behavioral goals and objectives

Write progress reports summarizing data collected each quarter

Collaborate with staff to implement student individual behavior plans and IEP goals

Direct educational assistants in the execution and implementation of student individual behavior plans and IEP

Ensure that students accommodations and modifications are being implemented and academic service minutes are being served

Attend meetings

Work with teachers to determine present levels of performance and aid in writing standards based goals

Work with a team on the continued implementation and development of programming for education of 7th-12th grade students

Maintain positive, professional relationships and use appropriate verbal, nonverbal, and written communication with all individuals.

OTHER POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
