The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for *Updated* Grounds Maintenance Worker 2, Facilities Management [R0146802]

ROLE of the POSITION

Incumbents perform duties such as weed and trash removal, sweeping sidewalks, debris and perform general labor in maintaining grounds using hand tools such as rakes and shovels. The schedule is M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm. 

Employees must possess and maintain a valid State of Nevada Driver’s license as a condition of and throughout employment.       

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

PER EXECUTIVE ORDER 2025-002, ALL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN WAIVED FOR THIS POSITION UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2025. Please refer to the link for more information: Executive Order 2025-002

Employees must possess and maintain a valid State of Nevada Driver’s license as a condition of and throughout employment.      

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Six months of experience performing basic grounds maintenance work; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience; OR six months of experience as a Grounds Maintenance Worker I in Nevada State service.
