Who we’re looking for:

STAFF ACCOUNTANT FOR OUR CORPORATE OFFICE IN BELLEVUE, WA.

Do you love to crunch numbers and have an eye for detail? The Staff Accountant is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information for the preparation of month end financial statements using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Staff Accountant reviews all hotel financial activities for accuracy including sales, purchases, payroll and expenses of the hotels and safeguards the assets through audit and review procedures. The Staff Accountant will have a specific hotel or area of responsibility depending on the allocation of work.

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

1. Accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
2. Resolve accounting variances.
3. Prepare journal entries.
4. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
5. Perform tax reconciliation audits.
6. Monitor accounts payable/accounts receivable.
7. Complete bank reconciliations.
8. Prepare financial reports for use in preparing monthly financial statements
9. Respond to inquiries regarding financial questions.
10. Annual preparation of the PPA-Personal Property Assessment.

Your experience and qualifications:

1. BA/BS in Accounting.
2. Two to five years of previous hospitality accounting experience.
3. Advanced Excel knowledge.
4. Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
5. Knowledge of multi-state tax regulations.
6. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
7. Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to problem solve and look for improvements and efficiencies.
