Overview:

SMG Surgery Specialists CarePlex is now hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant in Hampton, VA!

**All Qualified Candidates Can Receive a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus! **

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5p. No Nights, Holidays, or Weekends!

Duties: Rooming patients, vitals, doing minor procedures, administrative tasks, following up with patients, answer in-basket messages, communicate with providers and other staff well, cross training for the front desk and other duties assigned by your leader.

As a Medical Assistant with Sentara, you will work directly with a doctor conducting phlebotomy (lab), clinical and clerical duties. This position's primary responsibilities include bringing the patients into rooms, taking vitals, verifying patient information, and preparing them for the doctor. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or certified EMT (EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic) required.
• High School or equivalent
