We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting professional with lending experience who can lead and motivate accounting staff members and increase department accuracy and efficiency.
In this role, you will delegate, supervise, and participate in accounting department tasks, oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information, hire, train, and motivate accounting staff members, develop and implement department controls and procedures, and ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting and financial operations functions of Capchase.
  • Responsible for month end close processes for various accounts.
  • Lead Capchase through successful annual auditPrepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules for journal entries.
  • Manage company spend and expenses.
  • Review contracts to identify non-standard terms, document impact and ensure terms are appropriately operationalized.
  • Build and maintain best in class processes; help streamline month-close process via automation, identifying efficiencies and standardization.
  • Have the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally on new product offerings and non-routine transactions.
  • Ensure the development of accurate budgets and financial plans by effective planning, monitoring, and problem solving.
  • Consult with management to coordinate the planning process, understand business drivers of financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement, and create relevant management exhibits.
  • Oversee the production of complex management reports and associated analysis, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the business.
  • Provide sound financial advice to business units or other departments, anticipating the financial impact of changes in the business environment and making recommendations to improve business outcomes.
  • Understands the interdependencies of financial systems, recommending and implementing enhancements and planning appropriately for changes.
  • Identify and track key performance metrics pertaining to business operations, competitors, benchmarking, etc.
  • Resolve day-to-day and complex accounting issues.

Who you are:

  • MS in Accounting (Accounting, Finance or related field).
  • 7 + years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency with NetSuite
  • Experience in accounting for lending-related business models
