Fluid Power Systems & Applications Engineer

Description

Primary responsibilities include fluid power system design, application assistance, component selection, manufacturing support, and quotation generation. This role will also serve in other technical capacities in support of the business success of the company.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Customer interaction.
• Application and requirement identification.
• Circuit design, analysis, troubleshooting, and review.
• BOM and Quotation creation.
• Drawing creation including 2D circuits and 3D CAD (Solidworks).
• Engineering and Quality documentation.
• Project management.
• Manufacturing support.
• Technical resource for design, assembly, and performance of fluid power systems.
• Assembly and installation recommendations.
• System test and quality inspection.
• Technical advisor to customers and sales members.
• Customer and supplier visits, on a limited basis.
• Product evaluation and consideration.
• Vendor selection.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Work autonomously or in a highly interactive team environment.
• 4 Year College Technical Degree in Related Discipline or Equivalent Experience
• 3 or More Years Technical Knowledge/Experience preferably with Hydraulics/Pneumatics.
