Job Summary (General Responsibilities):

As a Retail Channel Marketing Manager (instore experiences), you will be responsible for developing and delivering account/channel marketing plans that will drive sell-through in the Americas across Omni, Telco and Travel retail segments. The position ensures (Belkin) product placements in store are in the best possible location for success and that the merchandising, POP, will enable customers to easily see, understand, and purchase our product portfolio. They will support our sales partners in establishing and executing on annual promotional drive periods, to attract, engage, and convert consumers and businesses at key moments of evaluation. They will drive and at times develop new merchandising concepts. Additionally, the role will work closely with internal Marketing team members to ensure that key brand identity and messaging are communicated across various retail marketing vehicles both online and in-store (retailer websites, media, in-store sales associates, display, focal points, and packaging. This position requires strong consumer messaging plus analytical capabilities, project management skills, team partnership and cross-functional relationship building skills.

Our hybrid work model allows you to work from home and take advantage of our brand-new HQ in El Segundo at any time. Most likely, you'll work from your home most of the time and come to the office to use our equipment and meet with the team. Many of us spend 2-3 days in the office per week.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Experience with developing physical in-store retailer displays that meet the brand’s objective along with the retailer design requirements
  • Promotions: Support execution of national account promotions in marketing campaigns, media, set-up pre and post analysis and report out learnings internally/externally.
  • Account Merchandising plans: Plan with sales team to maximize in-store merchandising opportunities for key product categories. Work with Creative and Marketing on creative guidelines. Ensure team is developing plans by account that optimize our presence in store, timelines are met, and expenses come in at/under budget.
  • Drives marketing programs with sales leads to support pitches for sell-in, and owns key initiatives to grow sell-through. Weighs the costs and benefits of each program and can determine the right allocation of resources and can bring in cross-functional support when needed.
  • Collaborates directly with retailer merchandising teams, their agency or fixture vendors to execute best in class consumer in-store experiences
  • Develops requirements and budget guidance for activities, gets buy-in and approval from stakeholders. Owns project management responsibilities for the activities.
  • Sell through: Monitors performance and works with sales analytics to report on progress and determine drivers of success or gaps versus goals.
  • Performs frequent retail audits to understand and identify shopper purchase hurdles and drivers, shares results within the company to drive improvements.
  • Collaborates with Global team to adapt regional requirements related to packaging, digital, and video content. May create deliverables for use in US / Canada / LATAM regions.
  • Understands and enforces brand and legal requirements for application of third-party logos, certifications, and brand guidelines for partnerships and awards.
  • Collaborates with the Customer Insights Team to execute consumer insights research. Translates results into effective direction that meets Company goals for best in class marketing materials and maximum impact in the market.
  • This role requires the employee to attend and actively participate in in-person meetings and present at company events, such as Sales Line Reviews or Product Management & Marketing Summits, to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients
  • The employee will be required to attend in-person meetings/events where they will present updates, strategies, or initiatives and provide leadership to direct reports and cross-functional partners to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Accountable for adhering to the organization and department procedures and guidelines, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support ISO system.
