ABOUT THE TEAM

As part of Strategy & Operations Board Area and Intelligent Enterprise Business Services (IE BS) unit, the Finance Success Solution SE (FSS) department contributes in providing one stable system environment by delivering the necessary solutions, technologies, and innovations to create business value, enable new business models, and drive SAP’s Run Simple transformation – all based on rock solid operations.
Within FSS, the Core Finance Team designs, develops, implements, and operates solutions that cater to the strategic and operational needs of SAP’s Finance community. 

Intelligent Real Estate Solutions (IRES) team is within Core Finance, we are looking for a motivated Working Student (f/m/d) to support us with the design and Back-end Development on cloud-native applications, extensions, and product features. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a student to strengthen our ability to quickly develop, implement and support SAP solutions in IES. As a member of our team, your main goal will be to approach all dimensions of your job with enthusiasm and personal commitment for achieving our customers’ success. 
 

Opportunities:

• You will research, evaluate, and recommend solutions and technologies that meet the requirements and end goals.
• Develop new apps, features and functions for our administration tools on the SAP BTP Platform (CloudFoundry).
• Develop calculation views on SAP HANA 2.0.
• You will contribute to the requirements to product by designing, implementing, and testing different features and functionalities.
• You will document the requirements and functionalities
• You will have touch points with different stakeholders across our organization 
• You will work closely with experienced colleagues and increase your visibility and network across the organization

 

Requirements: 

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics or similar
• Build a strong Java backend (Spring) to run performant and cloud-based business applications.
• Knowledge in development and build technologies like BAS, VisualStudioCode, CI/CD, GitHub.
• Very good programming skills and good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Good database programming and SQL knowledge 
• Good knowledge of cloud-native development
• Collaborate closely with a strong team of developers and domain experts.
• Ability to understand and master new technologies quickly
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good written and verbal English skills. German is a plus
• Experienced in front-end development technologies such as: UI-Development, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript etc. is a Plus
• Structured work, result driven, team player, strong analytical and interpersonal skills
