Job Description: The Electrical Technician (Facility Technician) is responsible for managing and maintaining the facility’s infrastructure and systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operations. This role involves supporting the operation and building systems, coordinating maintenance tasks, assisting facility projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Facility Management: 

  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of building systems, including MAU, RAU, Scrubbers, Chillers, Boilers, electrical systems, cleanroom environment (Temperature & Humidity Control and Pressure Control), Vacuum & CDA system. 

  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and efficient condition. 

  • Follow maintenance schedules and procedures for all facility systems. 

  • Ensure the facility system is consistent operating at optimum level. 

  • Work with colleagues on facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and repairs. 

  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: 

  • Assist with implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of facility systems. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment. 

  • Perform regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and potential improvements. 

  • Support with emergency repairs when necessary. 

  • Safety and Compliance: 

  • Ensure that all facility operations comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. 

  • Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. 

  • Assist in the development and enforcement of safety protocols and emergency procedures. 

  • Energy and Waste Management: 

  • Assist in monitoring and manage energy consumption to promote sustainability and reduce costs. 

  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and best practices.
