This involves diverse tasks from gathering requirements and giving feedback on technical feasibility to working closer to the machine learning team to bring the power of our AI to the product.</p><span>Your responsibilities:</span><br/><span><br/></span><ul><li>Develop benchmarking systems and contribute to scaling our API to manage increased traffic from new customers effectively.</li><li>Work to maintain high code quality and reduce production bugs, helping to create a seamless and reliable user experience.</li><li>Design and implement maintainable, high-performance server-side code, continuously enhancing our API technology stack.</li><li>Actively participate in code reviews, supporting the team’s commitment to clean, readable code and concise documentation.</li><li>Engage with different areas of the company to gather the insights needed for well-rounded solutions.</li><li>Contribute to the development of the next generation of our Cognitive Skill Builder, collaborating with the Machine Learning team to integrate advanced AI features.</li><li>Work with the Machine Learning and Data Science teams to bring the latest AutoNLU innovations directly to Studio, empowering customers with powerful new tools.</li><li>Share learnings and best practices in software development, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and growth within the team.</li></ul> <h3>Your profile</h3> <ul><li>5+ years working with Python and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI, with a strong command of building and optimizing backend systems.</li><li>Hands-on experience with relational/SQL databases, ensuring efficient and reliable data management.</li><li>Well-versed in software engineering essentials such as unit testing, CI/CD, integration testing, and ensuring code reliability and reproducibility.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud providers (e.g., Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and containerization tools like Docker is a big advantage.</li><li>You are highly motivated to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers and keep the big picture in mind to proactively identify and solve issues.</li><li>Thriving in Agile environments, you bring flexibility and adaptability to every project.</li><li>You enjoy sharing your work and insights with others, fostering knowledge exchange and team growth.</li><li>Known for your reliability, you meet deadlines and excel in both familiar and challenging new projects.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.</li></ul><br/><p><strong><span>Our stack and how we work</span></strong></p><ul><li>We build <a href="https://www.deepopinion.ai/document-ai" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">products, APIs, frameworks</a> and world-leading <a href="https://www.aclweb.org/anthology/2020.lrec-1.607/">deep learning NLP technology</a>.<br/><br/></li><li>Our tech stack:<ul><li>Programming language: Python</li><li>Frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, Django</li><li>Databases and data stores: PostgreSQL, Redis</li><li>Cloud providers: Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure</li><li>Events and asynchronous tasks: Celery, NATS, Argo Workflows<br/><br/></li></ul></li><li>We work agile in sprints and iteratively deliver towards our milestones and goals.
