Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Description
In this role, you will support GRM US Financial Operations design work that enables new products and processes, driving automation and process improvements through business operations analysis, and leading and facilitating special projects in billing, payments, and our other domains. You will work closely with leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements and simple automation to solve problems and improve business outcomes. This will include analyzing the operation and developing compelling recommendations that result in cost savings, efficiency gains, and improvements in the customer and agent experience. You will work cross-functionally and collaboratively with technical and functional teams regarding more complex tasks by acting as a liaison between Fin Ops, Delivery, and other teams to prioritize and execute on those opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve complex issues and discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve operational efficiency.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with external vendors to enhance collaboration, service delivery, and support for business objectives.
- Proactively seeks out value-added process improvement opportunities that align with strategic goals.
- Develop and advocate for comprehensive business cases that propose data-driven changes to existing practices, programs, or procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between Finance Operations, Delivery, and other teams to identify and prioritize high-value improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create actionable recommendations for process improvements, while focusing on continuous enhancements and adaptability to evolving needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments, including current state evaluations, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies, to support improvement recommendations and decision-making.
- Work closely with stakeholders on the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of business process changes to enhance overall business outcomes.
- Identify and execute automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency while aligning with strategic goals.
- Lead the design and modernization of billing processes to support new products and organizational initiatives.
- Organize and manage multiple work portfolios with attention to detail, facilitating collaboration across functions and fostering an innovative mindset that encourages creative problem-solving.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3-5 years of progressively more responsible related work experience is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, Macros, SQL, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Strong influencing, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Proven track record of identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience in developing simple automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Exceptional communication abilities with the capacity to craft compelling narratives that drive action and influence decision-making.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, leveraging data analysis techniques and tools to provide actionable insights.
- Ability to understand the big picture, demonstrate strategic thinking, and align initiatives with organizational goals.
- Demonstrated learning agility and intellectual curiosity to identify trends, potential issues, and actionable insights.
