Job Description

Under the guidance of the Sr. Manager of Business Systems, you will play a key role in the configuration and design of Salesforce Revenue Cloud and its offerings.  You will implement and maintain CPQ and Billing solutions that balance the business needs with the technical requirements ensuring end-user satisfaction and ease of integration with other enterprise systems.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for various projects including the development, and maintenance of our CPQ and Billing implementation and driving a seamless Quote-to-Cash business process.

This is a cross-functional role where you will partner closely with Finance, Operations, and end-users to improve processes and workflows and develop new Revenue Cloud functionality. This position is ideal for an individual looking to drive scalable business systems for a fast growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and develop Salesforce CPQ & Billing using Flow Apex, Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Design, code, test, troubleshoot, debug and document solutions throughout the development process and across the Salesforce platform including Force.com, Billing, Einstein, Heroku, various managed packages, e.g. Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Financial Force and others.
• In collaboration with business owners, develop an understanding of the business needs and requirements, providing CPQ & Billing expertise related to data, integration, security, and analytics.
• Using technical knowledge of Dynatrace’s other business systems (NetSuite, Boomi, Jira), evaluate solution and design options and provide recommendations to solve for business needs, identifying pros and cons, and providing work effort estimates.
• Contribute suggestions regularly to peer solution design process and team-based proof of concept and demonstrations providing expertise where needed.  May lead design review at times.
• Write comprehensive documentation on business requirements, process flows, technical objects and release step details (change controls, data migrations, and step-by-step order of operations) as well as configuration and solution design.
• Using software development lifecycle (SLDC) principles and Agile methodology, be the CPQ & Billing subject matter expert participating in sprint planning, story estimation, solution and technical documentation as well as release planning and execution.
• Ensure all code and changes to configuration successfully pass testing process.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Business Analyst experience
• 5+ years experience with CPQ configuration (price rules, discount schedules) & Apex Programming.
• 3+ years Development experience
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ (quote calculator plugins & automation), Billing Systems and other 3rd party integration.
• Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities like perpetual and subscription-based licensing, Usage billing, amendments, co-terming and renewals.
• Extensive Salesforce development technology experience required. Salesforce certifications preferred, e.g. Salesforce Developer, Specialist or Consultant paths.
• Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Proven experience with Software-as-a-Services (SaaS) integrations and configuration, including security, using Workflow, Flow & Process Builder, Apex, Visual Force (VF), Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL), Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), Application Programming Interfaces(APIs), web services, third-party tools and extract, transfer, load (ETL) processes required.  Experience utilizing middleware (Dell Boomi) preferred.
