Job Description

The Role:

 

The purpose of this role is to lead the product marketing efforts for our rapidly growing performance media product portfolio. This individual will be responsible for driving the overall product vision, positioning, and narrative while ensuring that it resonates with key stakeholders both internal and client side.

 

This Product Marketing Director works closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, practice and agency leads, new business and groupe marketing to develop and execute go-to-market plans, conduct market research, and create sales enablement tools and product collateral. The product marketing lead also stays informed of market trends and competitive landscape to continuously improve the product offerings and messaging. The ultimate goal of the product marketing lead is to drive product growth and adoption, resulting in increased lead generation, customer satisfaction and business success.

 

Key Accountability:

 

  • Driving product growth and adoption: The ultimate goal of the product marketing director is to drive product growth and adoption, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and business success.
  • Leading the global performance capability narrative both internally and externally while developing a community of thought leaders within the local markets to establish the practice as the leading voice for all things Performance globally.
  • Developing and executing the product marketing strategy: This includes market positioning, messaging, product launch plans, local team training.
  • Overseeing potential re-branding efforts from briefing to roll-out in line with management direction.
  • Conducting market research: Understanding customer needs and the competitive landscape and using the information to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Working closely with as product management, practice and agency leads, new business and groupe marketing to drive the product vision and ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Developing go-to-market plans: This includes demand generation activities, thought leadership programs, and product launches.
  • Leading the development of sales enablement tools: Creating tools and product collateral to support the new business team as well as organic growth efforts and drive product adoption.
  • Monitoring market trends and competition: Keeping up-to-date on market trends and the competitive landscape, and continuously improving product offerings and messaging to stay ahead of the market.

  • Market scale/adoption rates of our Performance vision and offering.
  • Delivering qualified leads/prospects out of the different marketing initiatives both at global and local levels.
  • Measure our Performance Brand’s market positioning and perception through quantifiable metrics such as Brand Awareness Surveys, Competitive Analysis and Market Positioning, Customer Feedback etc.
  • Produced articles, POVs and thought pieces within key markets.

Qualifications

The Criteria

 

  • At least 8 years of experience in product marketing with a proven track record of driving product growth and adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the performance media industry, digital marketing, and customer acquisition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to analyze trends and data and come up with creative content ideas for unique and engaging marketing content.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to execute complex projects
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for driving product growth and customer success

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong network with industry publishes and trusted voices
  • Proven track record on thought leadership; participated in panels, published articles etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with globally distributed cross-functional teams.
