Do you enjoy working outside in the summer? Are you a strong swimmer? Do you enjoy being responsible and be able to provide supervision and safety of all in a community pool environment with any available time in which you would like to work? If so, the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, is looking for you to join our amazing Aquatics Team who supervises the Community pool located in Southbridge MA!

The Community Pool is open for 8 weeks--Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am-6:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm (subject to change with extra programming), let us know what works for you. A regular predictable schedule will be provided.

The Pool Attendant will be expected to maintain and supervise visitor traffic at the facility, admitting patrons to facility, taking and reporting of daily attendance and season passes, and other related topics to the pool.

This position's responsibilities will be part of the opening and closing of the facility (depending on shift). These duties are to include but not limited to, raising and lowering flags, unlocking, and locking of bathrooms and supply closets, Keeping bathhouse neat and tidy, setting up/breaking down of guard stations and checking emergency equipment on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Be at least 17 years old.
• Possess CPR and 1st Aid Certifications

Job Type: Summer Seasonal

Pay: $16.00/hour, Access to facilities to all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave.
