Job Description

Effectively communicates with logistics team members on past, present, and upcoming activities. Ability to train and verify that team members understand processes. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Uses electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into inventory system.
2. Operates a pallet jack including building and maneuvering equipment on pallets.
3. Must be able to drive a PIT daily (training courses will be provided as needed).
4. Maintains the physical security and safety protocols we have in place that our certifications and company require.
5. Communications with Account Manager and Logistics Supervisor to ensure each task is completed timely, correctly, and safely.
6. Must be a team leader that can train others on logistics operations.
7. Maintains the operating condition of workstation tools and machinery used to execute primary functions.
8. Assists the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure a positive and efficient work experience.
9. Maintains the cleanliness and overall appearance of warehouse.
10. Perform on-site pickups within DOT approved guidelines, box truck driving experience, and performs and identifies regular maintenance.
11. Responsible for shipment of recycled commodities to approved vendors, and finished goods that including picking, packing, and packaging/labelling for domestic and international shipments.
12. Receiving of all incoming goods from customers (inventory) and non-inventory.
13. Understands escalation process when needing to troubleshoot.

Qualifications

• • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • OTR truck driving experience
