Do work that makes a difference

This is an exciting leadership opportunity to lead the Bank’s Workplace Collaboration, Infrastructure Simplification and Obsolescence related programs, which involve multiple concurrent projects to upgrade the Bank’s systems, technologies, and platforms such as Microsoft 365, Telephony, Windows, Linux, etc.

To achieve this you will:

  • Lead a team of technical specialists, change and project delivery personnel, introducing improvements to technology, process and people capabilities while maintaining the Bank’s high levels of security and availability.

  • Manage internal and external relationships, communicating and collaborating effectively with key stakeholders to successfully deliver change.

  • Implement the approved Workspace Collaboration Strategy.

  • Improve security whilst also integrating the solution with the Bank’s ecosystem.

  • Demonstrate experience and lead the development and implementation of operating model changes required to support the introduction of system, process and structure changes.

  • Oversee procurement, vendor management and professional service providers to ensure delivery to agreed objective, program benefits, compliance and value for money.

  • Identify and respond to issues, risks and opportunities, supporting the team to deliver agreed program outcomes.

  • Lead, guide and develop individuals and teams to effectively achieve area outcomes agreed by key stakeholders.

  • Contribute to capability uplift and continuous improvements to the Bank’s processes and practices.

Your team

You will lead collaborative and diverse teams with a great supportive culture and maturing agile practices. This role has multiple dotted line and no direct reports currently but may require line management in the future. Our people collaborate, share their expertise, drive innovation and solve complex technical and business challenges.

Your background

We are looking for someone with great people, technical and leadership skills who ideally has experience in large Obsolescence programs, and rolling out new platforms such as Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, etc. You should have extensive experience working with Agile methodologies along with advanced understanding of modern infrastructure solutions in financial services.
