211 - Business Intelligence Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Administrator to join our team. As a BI Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the BI infrastructure, developing visualizations, troubleshooting data models and configurations, and staying up-to-date with emerging BI technologies. You will work closely with stakeholders to define and deliver analytics solutions that meet the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the BI infrastructure, including configuring and implementing BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Cognos, Informatica, SAS, etc.
• Develop visualizations and dashboards that are intuitive, compelling, and meet the needs of end-users
• Troubleshoot data models, bugs, configurations, and app/data integrity across many tools in a complex, technical environment
• Collaborate with internal departments, external organizations, and other developers and engineers to refine our suite of analytics products
• Apply agile software principles to daily work, including JIRA and GitHub
• Assist with migrating reports from IBM Cognos to AWS QuickSight
• Contribute to writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant BI Technology and industry developments
• Research emerging BI technologies to determine the impact on application execution

Requirements

• 7 – 10 years of experience in a BI Administrator role, with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Health Information Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong technical skills in BI Tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Cognos, Informatica, SAS, etc.
• Proficiency in SQL and database design and development
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with stakeholders in defining and delivering analytics solutions
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Certifications in AWS or above suggested BI tools are a plus

THIS POSITION REQUIRES RESIDENCY IN MARYLAND OR NORTHERN VIRGINIA and is PARTIAL REMOTE 2 DAYS A WEEK. THIS POSITION IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REMOTE SCHEDULE.
