We are now looking for an Enterprise Architect / EA Platform Engineer for LeanIX to strengthen our EAM capabilities. In this role, you will operate and enhance our LeanIX platform - the central enabler for architecture transparency and EA services - while supporting the evolution of our Enterprise Architecture practice.

As an Enterprise Architect / EA Platform Engineer, you will work closely with the Enterprise Architects, work as part of EA team to enable tool facilitation of EA services. Your main responsibilities include ensuring the stable, scalable, and user-friendly operation of our LeanIX platform and contributing to the architecture transparency and governance of Hapag-Lloyd’s IT landscape. As Enterprise Architect you take responsibility for EA services in context our EA capabilities like Business-, Data-, Cloud Architecture or Transformation Planning, Governance or IT portfolio optimization.

LeanIX Platform Engineering

  • Operate, develop, and maintain LeanIX as central EA repository with focus on data quality, performance, and usability

  • Own enterprise-wide EA metadata model and drive content quality with EA service managers

  • Ensure consistent LeanIX usage across all EA services

  • Design and implement integrations between LeanIX and surrounding systems (e.g., CMDB, CI/CD pipelines, cloud & messaging platforms, and portfolio & governance tools).

  • Automate data flows, processes, and reports based on business and EA requirements.

  • Develop custom scripts, workflows, or microservices using e.g. Java, Python, and AWS technologies.

Architecture Collaboration & Enablement

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and EA service stakeholders on data maintenance and modeling standards

  • Coordinate with software providers and service partners, and support architecture communication for communities

  • Visualize architecture artifacts and provide clear insights into dependencies and transformation progress

  • Drive LeanIX adoption through training, office hours, How-To guides, and enhanced analyses for strategic decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification.

  • Practical experience with LeanIX or other Enterprise Architecture Management tools (such as ADOit, Alfabet, or similar).

  • Solid programming skills in Java or Python.

  • Experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, or Step Functions).

  • Understanding of enterprise architecture concepts (business capabilities, applications, data flows, technology portfolios).

  • Ability to translate EA requirements into platform configurations, integrations, and data models.

  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented, lean- and customer-oriented mindset.

  • Strong structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working.
