As an RN on the Cardiac Devise team, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education how their device will positively impact their lifestyle and improve their quality of life through better management of their cardiac function. This opportunity will not only allow you to advance your nursing skillset but can also lead to furthering your education.
A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
Administer medications and treatments.
Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
Cover other nursing roles within the department.
