The role oversees maintenance, compliance and performance of building services, leading internal teams and external providers while managing budgets, resources and vendor performance. It also drives continuous improvement and ensures all regulatory and health & safety standards are met.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>This role plays a key part in supporting site performance by maintaining a safe, reliable environment and leading initiatives to improve efficiency, sustainability and overall standards.</p><ul><li>Oversee day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring effective maintenance of all buildings, systems and services</li><li>Develop and implement facilities strategies, policies and maintenance programmes (preventative and reactive)</li><li>Lead and manage facilities teams, including recruitment, training and performance management</li><li>Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements</li><li>Manage budgets, forecasts and cost control initiatives</li><li>Oversee vendor relationships, contracts and service delivery against SLAs</li><li>Lead capital projects, refurbishments and space planning activities</li><li>Monitor and optimise building systems (e.g. HVAC, electrical, fire and security)</li><li>Ensure emergency planning and business continuity readiness</li><li>Maintain accurate records and reporting, supporting wider operational needs through effective stakeholder collaboration</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related field</li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and contractors</li><li>Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and compliance standards</li><li>Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor performance</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., IWFM, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are preferred</li><li>Strong leadership and people management skills</li><li>Excellent organizational and project management abilities</li><li>Financial acumen and budget management expertise</li><li>Effective communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities</li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:</p><p>Frasers Champion - Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
