About the role

Job Description: Senior Manager, Technical Program Manager

GEICO is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Technical Program Management (TPM) to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive the modernization of our infrastructure. This role will focus on managing large-scale deployments, mitigating security vulnerabilities, and overseeing the migration of our data center assets to the cloud. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to drive alignment, track dependencies, and plan and allocate resources across the organization. This requires a strong technical background, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Drive end-to-end program execution for infrastructure modernization, including cloud migration and deployment pipelines.
  • Deployment Management: Coordinate and optimize release cycles across multiple teams, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum reliability.
  • Vulnerabilities Management: Partner with security, stratops and engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
  • Cloud Migration: Lead the planning and execution of data center-to-cloud migration efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with engineering, security, compliance, stratops and executive stakeholders to align priorities and communicate progress.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs and deliver regular updates to leadership on program health, risks, and outcomes.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Experience managing vulnerability remediation programs and working with security frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications are a plus.


 

Annual Salary

$130,000.00 - $260,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
