Packout Associate

The Packout team member is responsible for picking and packing inventory according to orders, managing stock levels, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and handling other assigned tasks. This role operates Monday through Friday with an 8-hour shift, starting as early as 8 a.m. Occasional overtime may be required. The ideal candidate should be flexible with work hours, capable of meeting the physical demands of the position, and have strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with Dempsey's standards.

Responsibilities

• Quickly and accurately picks and packs inventory to match customer orders
• Helps with inventory control
• Maintains a clean environment, organizes products, and appropriately disposes of waste/trash
• Performs all assigned duties in a safe fashion and in accordance with OSHA standards and directives
• Reports any unsafe conditions or practices to management in a prompt fashion
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment checks (including background check and drug test)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
• Must have a highly reliable work/school performance record
• Must have reliable transportation in order to report to work as scheduled
