If so, then we have an opening for you!    </span></span><span> </span></p><p><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><p><span><span>Under the direction of the Manager of Engineering, the Senior Equipment Technician will provide technical support to equipment engineers for the improvement, installation, </span><span>validation</span><span> and transfer of replicate custom automated equipment used in the scale-up of manufacturing for existing or new Dexcom products. These duties include supporting cross functional equipment deployment teams while working with outside suppliers to meet equipment specifications and timelines. </span></span><span> </span></p><p><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Where you come in: </span></b><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>You will work with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, </span><span>layouts</span><span> or defined plans to perform testing, </span><span>checkout</span><span> and trouble-shooting functions. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, using test equipment </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will </span><span>operate</span><span>, test, or </span><span>maintain</span><span> robotic equipment and vision systems. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will </span><span>analyze</span><span> and record test results, and prepare written documentation </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will perform operational test and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will carry out activities in equipment development under supervision of the project engineer.  These activities include the assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures, </span><span>processes</span><span> and/or electronics, completing engineering studies and validations. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will follow Dexcom’s Safety and Lock Out/Tag out (LOTO) program. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will assume and perform other duties as assigned. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will perform all assigned tasks with </span><span>appropriate safety</span><span> requirements. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>You will update equipment related documentations (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><p><b><span>What makes you successful: </span></b><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Typically requires a minimum of 8-10 years of related experience </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Ability to read, </span><span>analyze</span><span>, and interpret common scientific and techn
