Job Summary:

The Senior Quality Inspector shall perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with Aerospace Standard AS9102, as well as creating using DISCUS. The candidate will ensure the accuracy and completeness of all engineering design requirements records on the AS9102 forms. Confirmation that the First Article Inspection Record (FAIR) is accurate and completed for a part number or assembly and that all part, product, and characteristic accountability aspects are addressed prior to approval.

 

Requirements:

• Demonstrate an understanding and use of AS9102 current revisions
• Demonstrate knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings, CMM data, digital productdefinition interpretation
• Demonstrate knowledge of geometric, dimensioning and tolerance
• Demonstrate evidence of product specific knowledge and experience as required (electrical,hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, software, IPC610/620 etc.)
• Demonstrate evidence of more than 2‐years in the last 5‐years of aerospace experience andposes experience of working within an engineering environment for a minimum of 3 years
• Proficiency with Net Inspect & DISCUS
• Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
