Overview
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and supervises the warehouse teams in Shipping, Case and Box, Putaway, PDD, Receiving, and TaylorWare. The Warehouse Supervisor assists the Warehouse Manager in the operations associated with the management, safety, layout and efficiency of the warehouse. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor prioritizes workloads and assists in warehouse training, mentoring and direction in day-to-day responsibilities.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
(Flexible schedule required to support night shift warehouse as needed)
Warehouse Supervisor Salary Range: $25.90 - 31.03/hr

- Supervises warehouse personnel in daily activities.
- Assigns daily workload to department employees.
- Gives direction and answers questions associated with stocking guitars and inventory control.
- Provides direction and support for the completion of the required departmental responsibilities.
- Ensures accurate and timely order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Assists Warehouse Manager with direction on warehouse operations including casing and boxing, inventory control, project delegation, etc.
- Communicates effectively with warehouse personnel; explains tasks clearly and patiently and answer questions when necessary.
- Collaborates and communicates effectively with other departments (e.g., purchasing, production, logistics, customer service and sales) to align warehouse activities with business goals.
- Conducts regular inspections of warehouse equipment and facilities; ensure maintenance and safety standards are met.
- Approves timesheets of warehouse personnel.
- Trains, mentors, and evaluates warehouse staff performance; enforce company policies and procedures.
- Reviews performance of department employees and makes recommendations to the Warehouse Manager and Human Resources regarding pay increases, reprimands, terminations or other personnel matters.
- Assists Warehouse Manager in establishing and maintaining “best practices” for the department.
- Communicates with Warehouse Manager on issues concerning warehouse procedures, personnel, etc.
- Communicates with a cross functional group of department leads and employees to ensure a seamless flow of information and materials.
- Ensures compliance with CTPAT, OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Ensures a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensures processes are properly documented and updated in standard work document form on BackStage Pass.
- Helps to determine, develop and monitor warehouse metrics and KPI’s to identify areas for improvement.
- Leads the Warehouse team 5S activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contributes to decisions in selection of new employees, ensures proper orientation and training for newly hired employees.
- Helps cover any work that needs completed due to malfunction or absence.
- Assists in all other duties assigned.
