About the Email Production & Operations Team

You will be part of the Email Product & Operations team responsible for email best practices, customer segmentation, testing implementation, functionality development, data integration, campaign execution, and analysis of WSI eMail programs.  Our team is part of the Technology Product organization, and partners with all of the brand and marketing teams to drive and deliver revenue growth through the email program.

Overview of the Tech Senior Digital Analyst role

As the Tech Senior Digital Analyst, you will be responsible for email best practices, customer segmentation, testing implementation, campaign set up, and analysis of WSI eMail programs. The individual in this role will have intimate knowledge of email database and data processes, overseeing data loads/pulls, and overall hygiene. You will be responsible for the optimization of email campaign strategy and process.

Responsibilities

  • Work with individual Brand(s) or programs to develop, set-up, and launch email campaigns with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation and contact strategy, technical set-up & execution.
  • Query data and execute an email campaign set-up using ESP application (Experian, Responsys, Exact Target, etc).
  • Design/code and troubleshoot relevant business rules and segmentation for each campaign.
  • Identify customer segments, testing approach, and execute database queries/file loads
  • Use behavioral targeting to make recommendations and target campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain email processes & reporting.
  • Guides Brand partners to maximize eMail content, creative best practices, and personalization.
  • Responsible for event-triggered email campaign development working with Customer Analytics, third party, and internal functions including BDM, eCommerce, and creative.
  • Analyze & compile results to support benchmarking & program optimization. Make contract strategy recommendations by segment.
  • Actively assists in prioritizing team deliverables and defining team objectives.
  • Oversees the design and implementation of new programs and technical solutions.
  • Act as a technical/strategic resource for other brands and team members.

Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' experience in email marketing campaign coordination/deployment, email best practices, customer segmentation, and database marketing
  • Comfortable working with large data sets with the ability to query, modify, and join data from different sources.
  • Strong ability to manage processes and ensure quality control
  • Strong technical ability using HTML, UNIX, SQL, FTP tools, ETL tools. AbInitio experience a plus.
  • Facility with Excel and PowerPoint. Able to analyze results and create and present reports.
  • Project management ability working with IT, external vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced changing environment
  • Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys working with others as part of a team
