About this opportunity:
The Electrical Engineer supports the Toledo Refinery safety, reliability, and operations through hands‑on troubleshooting, application of established electrical engineering practices, and delivery of practical technical solutions. This role partners closely with maintenance, operations, and senior engineers to support continuous improvement and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
What you’ll do:
Provide hands‑on, field‑based electrical engineering support for refinery operations, delivering timely troubleshooting and practical solutions that maintain safe and reliable production
Develop concise, constructible electrical engineering packages to address immediate operational needs and small capital improvements, including circuit modifications, equipment sizing, and design updates
Produce electrical drawings and documentation – such as wiring diagrams, conduit and cable schedules, and panel schedules – in compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, API)
Support the specification, purchasing, and installation of electrical equipment for small‑scale power distribution systems, coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Partner closely with operations, maintenance crafts, contractors, and senior engineers to ensure electrical designs are executable, maintainable, and aligned with refinery safety and reliability expectations
Who you are:
Legally authorized to work in the US
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
8+ years experience working Electrical Engineering in refining or relevant industry
