Job Description

This role can be based in San Francisco, Mountain View, Omaha, Chicago or NYC.

As Senior Audience Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in driving growth for the LinkedIn business. You’ll influence multiple steps of the member lifecycle through marketing channel touchpoints. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a consistent customer journey and set up complex experiments to measure causal impact to key business metrics. 

You are detail oriented, and have demonstrated experience navigating ambiguity, driving clarity, and influencing strategy.  This position reports to the Group Manager, Audience Operations. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with growth marketing, engineering, analytics, and data science teams to achieve and surpass business goals. Contribute to marketing’s growth strategy and quarterly prioritization decisions.
  • Partner with internal teams to recommend, devise and implement processes to maximize efficiency. 
  • Design system-first processes to scale and automate targeting and A/B experimentation, including defining and leading implementation of enhancements to our internal marketing targeting stack.   
  • Author and maintain logic for audience targeting variables and automate ETL pipelines in various languages such as SQL and Spark. 
  • Execute audience targeting logic for acquisition and lifecycle campaigns using SQL, Spark and LinkedIn native tools and technologies 
  • Set up A/B tests to measure incremental impact of marketing programs
  • Improve campaign KPIs by collaborating on and applying targeting optimization techniques

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, Business, Engineering or other quantitative fields, OR equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing operations, analytics or insights

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with customer segmentation and campaign optimization for marketing use cases
  • Growth mindset, curious, self-aware, and passionate about continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail, and project management skills to focus on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Experience with Trino and Git
  • Experience with Basic command of Unix commands / shell scripting 
  • Fluency in various database languages such as SQL, Spark and Python 
  • Proven aptitude for assimilating new technologies and processes 
  • Proven ability to break down and diagnose issues, then identify and rapidly deploy solutions 
  • Excellent communications skills; able to distill complex concepts into clear and concise language for senior-level management 
  • Great collaboration skills to connect and problem solve with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, design, and data science teams
  • Experience with Statistical analysis including knowledge of A/B testing and Reporting (eg: Tableau, PowerBI)
