Overview

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) Corporate IT Infrastructure Department is seeking an experienced and results-oriented IT Asset Management Analyst. The Analyst will assist the IT Asset Manager in the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. Will play a key role in the Printer Management Program with our vendors. Assists the IT Asset Manager on developing and implementing procedures for tracking company assets throughout their lifecycles and maintains a catalog item and ensures printer maintenance is meeting company needs.

 

LOCATION

  • This role sits out of our HQ in Jacksonville, FL (preferred) or can be 100% remote.
  • Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, without sponsorship.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes and generates asset management policies, procedures and processes.
  • Develops asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location, and contract.
  • Develops relationships with printer and copier vendors to ensure contracted maintenance support is provided to field.
  • Monitors printer and copier devices added, removed, and updated with vendor to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintains and monitors hardware and software inventory databases.
  • Meters and reviews software and hardware utilization and make recommendations on requirements.
  • Manages day to day asset tracking operations, including leveraging FNF’s various platforms to discover and catalogue hardware and software assets.
  • Manages the asset management system(s) and ensure it aligns with FNF’s other systems.
  • Maintains strong attention to detail in all aspects of the asset inventory to ensure prompt asset reporting and control measures.
  • Aggregates hardware and software purchasing data, data normalization, and audit/verification through regular and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Resolves a wide variety of issues that arise from tracking assets on an enterprise-wide scale by leveraging FNF’s partners, procedures, and tools. This requires often requires creativity and excellent intrapersonal skills.
  • Perform other duties as requested, including administrative functions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
  • Requires 2+ years’ experience in modern IT infrastructure support and maintenance, including an understanding of how an IT Operations group delivers services and supports the company. 
  • Possesses current technical knowledge of IT hardware and software including but not limited to servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, network devices, storage devices, software licensing basics, enterprise applications, virtual devices, services and components (where applicable).
  • Proven track record of problem solving and making business decisions independently, with the focus on cost reduction.
  • Ability to express thoughts and ideas to others both orally and in writing. Detailed documentation is a core must have skill.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage and multiple priorities and/or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.
