Brown & Brown is Seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team in Las Vegas, NV.
This position serves as the primary service contact for the client and acts as the liaison with the carriers and vendors. This position is primarily responsible for open enrollment coordination and day to day servicing. Works closely with account team to ensure client expectations are met while abiding to the service model.
How You Will Contribute
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Oversee a book of roughly 30 accounts, managing 10-15 as the primary contact while providing secondary support for the agency’s top clients.
- Spend 50-60% of time on client-facing activities, including account management and business development.
- Develop and implement strategies with producers, aligning proposals and presentations with client needs.
- Educate clients on benefits legislation, compliance, industry trends, and product updates.
- Oversee enrollment vendors and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Act as the primary service contact for assigned clients, handling billing, claims, and eligibility issues.
- Maintain service logs, track renewal timelines, and manage large group reporting.
- Ensure timely and professional client communication, responding to emails within 24 hours.
- Support marketing and sales efforts, including proposal development and presentations.
- BAM Responsibilities:
- Create and manage cases, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Monitor and close out activities efficiently.
- Ensure accurate client data management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee production and accuracy of contracts, benefit summaries, and compliance documents.
- Strengthen client relationships, identify risks, and introduce additional products/services as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends, legislative changes, and emerging technology.
- Uphold agency policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Licenses and Certifications:
- NV Health and Life License (preferred but not required by the State of NV)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- Four-year college degree preferred
- Valid NV Driver’s License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 3+ years experience in employee benefits industry

Pay Range
$30.00 - $31.25 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
