Chief of Security - MGM Springfield

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Chief of Security (“CSO”) will lead and execute all security related
operations security standards, strategies, and operational support to maintain the safety and security of their assigned MGM Resorts International (MGMRI) property or venue.  This includes leading assigned MGMRI security staff regarding property physical security and security operations.

• Partner closely with the VP Zone Leads in the provision of uniform and
  consistent standards related to safety, security, and readiness protocols at
  assigned property. 
• Lead and mentor staff at assigned property.
• Review and implement annual security assessments for  assigned property to identify policy, staffing, and technology requirements that drive continuous improvement.
• Drive successful implementation and execution of security operations and
  on-going Security Center of Excellence (COE) strategies and priorities.
• Provide oversight and leadership, in coordination with VP Zone Lead, in the event of an incident at a respective property.
• Collaborate and make recommendations as it relates to executing strategies in alignment with the changing security environment and Company initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous security leadership experience in a similar or related setting.
• At least eight (8) years of government or private industry experience in the
  security field, including previous experience preparing risk assessments,
  operational security plans, conducting security reviews, and/or after-action reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience.
