About the role
General Summary of Position:
Instructor duties include: • Prepare course content in collaboration with the seminar instructional team, grade and teach a weekly, 1 credit, 75 minute preparation seminar for approximately 40 – 50 students. • Be available for communication with students as needed for class related questions and to support their co-op/internship search in collaboration with their assigned co-op advisor. • Assist students with career issues relevant to their individual situation, preparing students with job search skills and tools to present themselves effectively. • Work closely with and mentor a Co-op Program Assistant assigned to your course to coordinate course activities. • Provide 2-3 hours/wk availability for individual student consultation, Co-op Program Assistant coordination and instructor team meetings as necessary. • Attend selected Career & Co-op Events as available
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree AND at least 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications: (If applicable)
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field AND relevant experience
- Candidates with relevant career development, teaching and/or college level recruiting experience desired
