MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Systems Analyst Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of DHS and OBIM.
● Develop dashboards/alerts
● Improve system stability, optimize performance, and deliver automation and observability solutions
● Support incident response and triage across cross-functional teams
● Perform advanced systems analysis to validate system behaviors, troubleshoot discrepancies, and provide actionable insights

● Collaborate with O&M team and stakeholders to deliver outcome-based solutions aligned with customer requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Analyst Principal must have:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: experience providing systems analysis, automation, and other enterprise-level O&M support for the Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology (HART) system; experience supporting production operations of AWS microservices platforms; experience with Splunk, OpenShift, and DevSecOps tools
● Security clearance level: Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability)
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Role requirements: work location - any CONUS home/remote; experience briefing or communicating issues/problems and outcome-based solutions, plans, progress, and results clearly and succinctly to program management and to Government supervisors/managers or technical staff; adept at problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, time management, multi-tasking, and task-ownership; excellent oral and written communication skills; and possesses a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision
● Preferred Skills: degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience; knowledge and/or expertise with Agile methodology, Maestro, Confluence, and/or Jira; and certifications in ITIL v4, SAFe Agile Framework, Scrum Master, AWS, or similar.
