About the role
The Gen AI team at Meta is currently looking for Research Scientist interns. Our team creates voice and multimodal immersive experiences for people to build community and connect with others around the world. We conduct product-motivated research in ML/AI and design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art algorithms to the rest of Meta.
We are committed to advancing the field of artificial intelligence by driving forward technologies that help us interact with and understand the world. We are seeking individuals passionate about cutting-edge research in areas related to speech, audio and language processing such as speech synthesis, speech and audio processing, multimodal models, large-scale deep learning and generative models. Our interns have the unique opportunity to make foundational contributions to large language models (LLMs) and state-of-the-art generative models in speech and audio, and apply their ideas at an unprecedented scale.
Our teams at Meta AI offer twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) week internships, and we have various start dates throughout the year. Internships are available at our Menlo Park, Seattle, and New York City locations.
