As a Systems Engineer at Parsons, you will provide technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration, and technical management. You will assist in providing technical input to the systems engineering process and lead teams in developing application and technical plans. Your role will also involve guiding customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education, guidance, first-use and tuning assistance, problem-solving, and critical situation resolution
What You'll Be Doing:
- Technical Support: Provide technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration, and technical management.
- Systems Engineering Process: Assist in providing technical input to the systems engineering process, ensuring robust and efficient system development.
- Customer Guidance: Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education and guidance, first-use and tuning assistance, problem-solving, and critical situation resolution.
- Technical Plans: Develop and implement technical plans that align with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design specifications, and integration plans.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration and implementation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system architecture and design processes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
- Mid –Bachelors Degree and 5+ years experience or 11+ years experience in lieu of degree
- Senior –Masters Degree 8+ years experience or 16+ years experience in lieu of degree
- Must have a current/active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance if it is required in the future.
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, with a focus on system architecture, system design, system integration, and technical management.
- Experience in guiding customers in the installation and use of strategic products.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and processes.
- Proficiency in system architecture, system design, and system integration.
- Knowledge of technical management and project leadership.
