Job Description

As a Security Officer - Telecom Site Patrol - DoD Cleareance - Full Time in Centennial, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic technology and telecommunications location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help prevent potential issues, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially within technology, media, and telecom settings.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the location, adapting to the unique needs of a technology, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
