Principal Chemical Process Engineer

Integral to our success is a Principal Process Engineer that will be responsible for leading process efforts of engineering and taking initiative in improving technology commercialization.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the process engineering of module development and product deployments.
- Supervise, review, and approve process-related design documents.
- Lead meetings (kick-off, client review, vendor drawing reviews) and support prototype demo tests.
- Develop design guidelines, procedures, and process tools and train subordinates on how to use them.
- Act as a liaison between the process team and other internal groups and external vendors/partners to promote technology development and deployments.
- Participates in FMECA/PHA review meetings.
- Foster innovation (patents, better work processes, presentations of Amogy's technology to external partners).
- Influence and persuade colleagues, management, and clients on both technical resolutions and new ideas.
Requirements
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Have a BS in Chemical Engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Have a PhD degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Have solid knowledge of Chemical Engineering disciplines.
- Interact successfully with clients, partners and internal employees in all areas of expertise.
- Previous experience leading a group of process engineers in delivering PDP and FEED packages especially for pilot plant designs.
- Have the ability to supervise team members and to advise and mentor in areas of expertise.
- Have the ability to initiate and implement new projects.
- Have the ability to introduce new knowledge and design tools.
- Have the ability to take the initiative in making decisions in areas of technical expertise.
- Have the ability to travel, present, and lead field assignments.
- Process engineering experience in maritime and offshore applications.
