Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (NodeJs and ReactJs/NextJs)

The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. This role requires a self-driven individual with exceptional leadership and communication abilities. You demonstrate expertise in frontend and backend development and act as a tech lead for the team. This role involves collaborating and motivating peers, interacting with Product and Design professionals, driving requirements, and significantly contributing to our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Be comfortable designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems to support our web applications.
• Architect and implement efficient APIs and other backend components.
• Ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications, preferring experience in Next.js and Node.js.
• Lead and guide technical projects from design through completion.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Promote coding standards and best practices across the team., including test automation and focus on end-to-end ownership.
• Work closely with Product Analysts, Designers, QA, and other team members to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Engage with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Communicate clearly and effectively across functions within the team, ensuring that all team members are on the same page.
• Share technical information and project updates regularly with the team and stakeholders.
• Participate in product discussions to provide technical insights and help shape the product vision.
• Involve the team in decision-making processes to foster a sense of ownership and collaboration.
• Ensure that documentation is accessible and useful for current and future team members.

Desired Background

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development in Node.js and Next.js, focusing on designing and implementing scalable systems.
• Proven technical leadership skills with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent code review and best practice implementation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Performance tuning and optimization of Node.js+Next.js applications.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of database design and optimization, with experience in SQL databases.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
